Notification about the approval

Hi All,

 

It is probably a very simple question but I am stuck and can’t figure it out. Do you know how to make sure that a user is notified at the specific step of the workflow that everyone approved it (of course the WF step will NOT be promoted to the next step automatically)?

Hi Dorota,

Please Go to System Settings –> Notifications in JavaClient and see if this Default Notification is enabled: “Change Orders – All Change Approvers Have Approved“. As far as I remember, it sends notification to the To list of Notifier section when you manually try to change the status of the WF of that ECO.

Checking our system, it doesn’t allow to change the “To” field. So, it only sends to Change Analyst or component engineer of the change. It would be interesting if you are able to change it in your system

Yes, it’s a Default Notification, so the To field can’t be changed. You’re right, it’ll only send to the CA, it won’t pick up the Notifiers’ list during manual status change. I hope sending notification to Change Analyst would be sufficient in this case, or else a custom Event has to be written with a custom notification template.
