List Fields that are associated with the attribute – not selectable
We have list fields that are Cascading on a List Attribute and then some that are Simple List on MultiList Attributes, that worked and have data entered on legacy records and can be searched by. But now when users click on the attribute and try to select get the following error:
“There are no available values for this field. Please contact your Agile administrator.”
There are values in the list and it is associated with the attribute, but can not select. This only occurs in our Production Instance. When it is copied to our DEV or TEST instance it does not occur and Oracle Support can not find a cause.
The version of Agile is 9.3.1.2
With Update Versions 9.3.1.2;9.3.1.2.130;9.3.1.2.301;9.3.1.2.250
We have had the issue occur both on PQM and PC objects.
1- Are these Cover Page or Page2/3 Attributes?
2- Do you get this error for all Cascading & Multilist attributes or only specific fields?
3- Does the error occur when the user tries to select a value from the list (they can open the list, but not select a value), or when the user tries to open the list in the first place?
You might want to enable a couple of new TEST P2/3 attributes (List and Multilist) both using the same list (one that is giving you the error). Whether or not you get the error for either (or both) of the new attributes would help narrow down what is actually causing the problem.
I.E. – if the list works fine for a different List attribute – the List isn’t the problem. If it works for both the new List AND MultiList Fields – the Attribute Type isn’t the problem…
