Is there a way to have the affected items of a change request open the revision that is on the change request, not the latest revision?

Hi,
We are using change requests for training purposes.
Sometimes we need an employee to train on the last revision of a document not current revision.
Our training change request will have a document to train on with Rev B in the affected items (even tho there is a rev C of the document.)
When the user opens the document from the change request it automatically opens Rev C, the latest Rev, not rev B, the one on the change request.
Is there a way to force the system to open the Rev that is actually on the change request?

Thank you,
Laura

Laura,

When we search an item in agile by default it will show with latest revision only.
If you go from specific change affected item it will open with revision which has  on that change.

1. Login into agile and search for that document using document number and select B Rev from Rev drop down box under Document number. It will show all B Revision related data/attachments/….etc
2. Go to that Change Request and click on Document then select B Rev from Rev drop down box under Document number. It will show all B Revision related data/attachments/….etc

you can follow any one of above steps to go to previous revision of document.

I understand the user can change to the correct rev listed on the affected item. But because change requests allow the user to select a back revision sometimes the revision on the change request is not the current one. I wanted to see if there is a setting to make the system open the revision on the change request affected items, not the latest one. Sounds like that is not a possibility.

Thank you,
Laura
