is there a configuration setting for what BOM component revisins should show
I have worked with the Agile PLM application and database for quite a while, and I always thought that in the BOM the component revision is calculated from the release date of the assembly revision being viewed. As such it would be constant and would therefore never change.
But I am now working for a client where it seems that it only shows the latest released revision for a component part no matter when the assembly revision was released. I know that I have seen it where the component revision would change going from 1 assembly revision to the next, based on the release date of that assembly revision.
Is this something that can be configured, as to what is shown (latest revision always vs. most recently released prior to assembly revision)? Or am I just going crazy?
