How to restrict user from viewing only 1 part with its BOM Item

You can
- don’t assign any role to the user
- Share the item with the user selecting a particular role to see all information of that item.
The Share feature can be found in the action menu of the item and it will assign that role with that user only for selected item

Divakar – you shouldn’t have to create any new role or criteria for this. You just need to select whatever role(s) it is that allows YOU to read that Part/BOM. Even if the role is something like “Read Only – All Items” sharing that role with another user will only give them access to the role for that specific part.
