Can Selenium be used for automating test scripts on Agile PLM?

I want to know if someone has the first hand experience on automating Agile PLM testing with Selenium or any other such tool. If yes, how was your experience. Are there any limitations. Does it work well with Agile dynamic lists?

Hi Sourabhverma

i already used HP Load Runner for stress test and data load. In the stress tests we simulated 30 users performing some kind of tests like run a report, create a project, create and submit a change.
It was a really good experience, I don’t have any experience with Selenium but if you can somehow create test scripts on it, I definitely recommend it, but note that you’ll need people to analyze the results.

Hi Carlos,

Thanks for the quick reply.

What I understand from your post is that there is no issue automating the Agile test cases with such a tool.
Test cases work well with all the attribute types.

Please let me know the challenges you faced while implementing it.

Sourabh

that time the challenge was to find a resource capable to develop the test script do HP Load Runner. It’s a powerful tool that needs a specialist to develop such script. it was really a good experience.
If you have such Selenium specialist and the scenarios are clear I believe you won’t face any major issue.

Good luck.
