BOM export on excel restricted for Subcon
As part of our initial implementation, extenal Subcons have been restricted from exporting PLM data to excel. They do have access to view the attributes and BOM data but when exported they see a blank screen.
We would like to enable export privileges for another external party. I am not able to figure out what privilege is blocking this export. please through some light.

Hi Archana,
by the rule, if you have Read Privileges you are able to export that data to Excel, if these users are seen a blank screen when exporting I’m wondering if there’s a filter configured to do not show anything when exporting.

Attached is the Export privilege given to the Subcon, i dont see how i can add BOM tab to this. They are able to export BOM data from Search results but export data is missing if run from Actions –. Export from the Item itself.
Archana, I think that everything is OK with the used privilege.
However, please verify the Filter configuration, the export procedure, that you explained, uses a filter called Default Item Filter. Please refer to the attached file to find the filter and verify if all the tabs are configured as needed.
