Based on what i have encountered earlier :
1. For reports it happens due to security settings in browser, which blocks the report. Normally for Tools > Internet Options > Security tab you can change it to lowest possible.
2. If you have done some back-end update for data and try to log-in you get some error.The Standard fix is :
1. Log-Out,Clear browser cache and log-In back.
2. Check the browser security settings.
3. If 1 doesn’t work then server restart.
4. Also if its a custom report, you can try to form the same using Advanced search and try to run from there.- 1825 views

The issue is resolved now. Just for everyone’s benefit, these are steps i followed :-
1. Moved change back to Expired status.
2. Change the smart rule “Demotion Reviewers Removal” –> Retain
3. Change the smart rule “Demotion Signoff Removal” –> Retain
4. Manually moved back change from Expired to CM Confirmation. It gives you the pop-up with the listed approvers. Click okay to retain them.
5. A mail is triggered thereafter to listed approvers.This answer accepted by Arif. on May 5, 2024 Earned 15 points.

Hi Raju,
This is pretty much normal scenario in Agile. It happens due to object lock which is created when code takes longer time to execute or multiple clicks performed to execute the code.
One way i handle this thing is to introduce a counter on number of re-tries you wanna do.
Something like this i tried in my code and it helped :
Sample
——————
catch (APIException e)
{
message = e.getMessage();
if (message.contains(“This object has been modified”)
|| message.contains(“Someone is working on this object”)) {
if (trynumber < 3) {
trynumber++;
Thread.sleep(THREAD_SLEEP_TIME);
//Call your code once again.} else {
//verify the number of tries e.g. u can print try number.
// Call your code once again}
} else {
//Send final failure message
}Regards,

There are couple of approaches.
Frequency : If you need on Daily/Weekly/Weekend/Weekday/Monthly/Basis then, You can follow along the following steps and leverage OOTB feature to do that ->
1. Create New –> Reports — > Custom Reports
2. In Define query window, you can include a saved Search or create a custom search.
3. Click on Finish.
4. Go to schedule tab, you can select the frequency as Daily/Weekly/Weekend/Weekday as per your convenience. You can also Define the user list you want to create.Frequency : Hourly
1.Write a standalone Java program which should load your report query.
2. Schedule the job to run on hourly basis on your serverRegards,
