Getting Back on Track with ENOVIA & 3DEXPERIENCE 2017x

Digital transformation has become essential for companies who wish to remain competitive. Oceaneering recognizes, and is acting on, this important trend. Although ENOVIA (and MatrixOne) have been in use at Oceaneering for many years, the system is undergoing significant reinvigoration within OLL’s business units. By developing a comprehensive PLM strategic roadmap, and then executing on that plan with deep support from Adaptive and Razorleaf, Oceaneering has been able to expand its global footprint of ENOVIA usage and adoption with 3DEXPERIENCE2017x. In this session, we will describe how Oceaneering brought more value out of PLM than it costs, and how we turned the “PLM ship” around in the last few years. We will discuss Oceaneering’s strategic direction of de-customization to stay closer to out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities, to enable faster cycle time for upgrades, as well to support the organization’s need for up-to-date CAD software in our multi-CAD environment.

Attend this session to see several practical examples of how multi-CAD design activities are made simpler through the use of POWER’BY on 3DEXPERIENCE.

Digital Thread gets a lot of discussion but everyone’s definition is different. In this session, we will discuss the definition of the Digital Thread and why it is important before continuing forward to look at some real world examples of a Digital Thread. Live software will be demonstrated to show the Digital Thread.
