Crowley Maritime Corporation, a global marine solutions, energy, and logistics services company, shifted its procurement philosophy from being driven by the purchasing department, to empowering all employees to submit purchasing requisitions. The goal was to eliminate direct-entry POs and allow the 2,000 field employees to use the system rather than relying on the purchasing department. Oracle’s self-service procurement solution was used as the foundation for users to start the new requisition process. • Regal Beloit’s 8-Week Goal Implementation of Cloud Strategic Sourcing

In this session hear how Regal Beloit replaced Ariba with Oracle Procurement Cloud and incorporated critical integrations to Oracle E-Business Suite to standardize the global sourcing process for all requests for information, requests for quotes, and auctions. This includes designing and configuring a core foundation for all 17 operating units in 3 countries, with strategic consideration for future procurement and HCM implementations. The project resulted in a sourcing solution with a phased approach and first go-live in 8 weeks. Learn how the solution helped evaluate and complete complex supplier assessments, provide multiphase implementation options to accommodate global rollout, and ensure integration strategies and options that optimize for hybrid environments.
