wireless printer servers

I have a TP-LINKTL-WPS51OU wireless printer server connected to a Brother MFC 8680DN printer/scanner/copier. The connection works well for printing but for scanning the printer display states “connecting to pc” (which is a HP Pavillon window 7) and nothing happens and after a while it goes into the sleep mode.

Can you help?
