Hi,

While searching item# 1036533-07, we are facing error# Wildcard query resulted in too many results, please refine your criteria and try again, in web client, so please let us know how to solve this error.

In Admin under Server Settings->Preferences check that the “Maximum Query Results Displayed” is 1000.

But this sounds like an issue with the context search. Try your search without -07. Just, 1036533. If that returns your item then you probably have a corrupted ctxsys database user. There is a ctx database attribute that has a list of special characters. Usually, this attribute would contain the dash character. See Oracle Support knowledge,
