Want to be able to modify change controlled attribute of part that is released.
Hi,
We have some change controlled attributes on page two of part. We would like to be able to have only the change analysts be able to edit those fields when the part is released either in the titleblock redline area of the released change or just on the part itself (we can do this for non-change controlled parts).
I have created a modify privilege that criteria is
‘Parts ( Title Block.Lifecycle Phase In Engineering Or
Title Block.Lifecycle Phase In Pilot Or
Title Block.Lifecycle Phase In Production ) And
$LATESTREV Is Released
And have included all attributes including change controlled ones in the applied to fields.
The privilege is not working. I cannot edit the change controlled attributes from the change order when it is released and in one of those lifecycle phases.
I’m assuming this is As Designed for change controlled parts to not allow modification of fields that are change controlled in Released and Implemented statuses. Just want to make sure that is the case and I’m not missing something.
