Is it possible to make a change order to correct a BOM list without change the Item Revision?

I am trying to correct a list which is not according to the real BOM, but I would like to do this without change the Item Revision because I am correcting the item BOM and not changing it. Note: This item has been transfered to agile during the Agile Implementation, and occurred a problem with the item BOM from some items

I did not find a way to correct the BOM of a released item without change the revision, and the agile did not allow to keep the same revision when I try to implement the change order.

Wagner,

The answer is ‘No’.  Best you can do, which I might add can be complex and is mostly NOT recommended, is to un-release the last change, make the correction and re-release.  If you have connectors to say an ERP you would need to handle the update manually.  Again, this is not a recommended approach yet is an option to solve your issue.

Patrick, thank you.

I tried to do what you said, but the item has been used in many other items bom, what I mean is that I can’t un-release the last change because the most of these items are showing up on where used tab of another released item and the system do not allow to un-release this item. When I try to un-release the change order occur the following error: “This is not the latest released common change for (item number)”
I sought to the configuration that could allow this, but I did not find it, maybe it is not permitted.

At the same time, I have created another subclass of change orders to correct these items, a new subclass which will not connect to ERP, but I will have to change the item revision if I do that. I tested it and it will work if the revision is changed.
I am thinking about to find a way to change manually the item revision (and change to a invalid revision) and make a change order from the subclass that I created to correct the item bom.

Patrick,

I found the setting to un-release the last change, it is the smart rule “ReleasedRevRequired”.
As I have few items to correct, I think this way will be the easiest way to solve my problem.

Thank you!
