Is it possible to access Navigator objects using API?

When using the Web Client users can select and manipulate objects on the Navigator section of the left window pane.
Is it possible to access this list of objects using API?

You can create this searching in API and browse between result objects. Is it solve your problem?

Thanks but I am looking for a way to access the actual list of objects in the Navigator section.
