Importing MFR parts throws error

Hi,

I am doing import for manufacturer parts.
In the excel it has CRLF(carriage return Line Feed) at end of each MFR part cell.
In my customized character set for MFR parts, I allowed the carriage return and Line feed by selecting ^p

Still while importing the MFR parts it is throwing error, saying there is some character which is not allowed..

While I copy the excel cell of MFR part, the part gets created successfully.

How to avoid this error.

Alternatively if I select All Characters in the MFR character set, the Import is getting completed, will this ran me any problems, I am doubtful as my system is connected to ERP.

Hi Surya,

There is a Bug in the import functionity when a custom character set is being used.

Fix has been provided by Oracle in one of the patches.
