How to hide affected Item columns based on workflow type for same object.

This would be a very basic question but i am not able to find how to hide some cols under affected item of the same object based on workflow type . I have created a separate workflow based criteria and provided appropriate read privilege for the fields which are needed but all colms are displaying for the object in the affected item.  Please suggest if a am missing anything ?.

Malaku,

Only way I can imagine is to use the read + field level privileges to mimic what can be seen based on the chosen type.  Hoping the type you mention is chosen at the creation step as a required field, then when saved the read criteria should know what the type is and only allow those columns to be viewed.  Note that one experience of the field level read is that it is possible that it may slow down the app depending on the complexity but otherwise you should be ok.

I have created the “Enforce field level ” with Read privilege and assigned to appropriate role but still those fields are visible though those fields doesnt have read access. Please find attached document for screen shots .

Make certain the field level read and the other two read privileges are not in conflict.  This is one of those troubleshooting efforts where you will need to work with it until you find the issue.  I suggest you create a test account that only has this role and tweek until you find the issue.

Thanks Patrick for your response .

I configured completely new role and assigned read affected item fields and enforce field level privileges to this new role .
I still can view all  the columns name under affected item tab with ” no privilege” as value for the fields which doesnt have read access.
Were you referring to this as solution for this requirement? If yes then this is not what we need . We need to hide completely those columns and fields under the affected item tab for the same subclass object but different workflows.

If no then can you please share some evidence screen shot with some samples which i can refer to replicate this in my system .
