How do extract the data from a PDX package?

I click the extract button in Agile express and I expected the files in the package to be exported to a location I specified, but did not get any drawings. I just got a single text file. I can view the files in the PDX viewer using the eye icon so I know there in the package.

I tried PDXplorer and it worked. I will use that program for extraction and Agile express for editing the PDX package.

Hi,

I can not pin point why you are not able to extract one particular file from the pdx. But, to verify the exported pdx file, you can try the extract using other PDX Viewer tools. Some of the open source tools available are – PDX Explorere(http://www.pdxplorer.com/pdxplorer-pdx-viewer.htm) and PDX Viewer (http://www.arenasolutions.com/products/pdxviewer/).

Just try to extract the files using any of these PDX softwares and let us know if it works.

PDX is a ‘zip’ archive, if all else fails use a zip utility to browse the files in the archive and grab it.  Probably will be prefixed or suffixed with something to give it a unique ID, but you can rename it.
