Enable Min Qty and Max Qty fields on the Items BOM tab

Hi Guys,

I am trying to enable Min Qty and Max Qty fields on the Items BOM tab. But it is not showing up on the BOM tab even though I have read access.

I even checked BOM tab ‘Base View’, these fields aren’t available there as well.

Are these fields tied up to with some other modules like PCM? should I have to enable other module to make it visible on the BOM tab?

They might only be available on a model subclass as these fields are used with Variant Management.

Yes, I just checked the guide.

To be able to modify a Model Option BOM, the fields Parts.BOM.Max Qty, Parts.BOM.Min Qty, Part.BOM.Mut Excl, and Parts.BOM.Optional also have to be assigned to the modify privilege.
