Agile PLM – User ID Rename from LDAP
Hi All,
Due to security reasons User Id needs to be changed in LDAP remaining all the details are same like firstname – last name
Only the user id is going to be changed in the LDAP but for testing purpose we don’t have any test environment unluckly.
My question is: if User Id is Renamed from LDAP when we do “Refresh from LDAP” under Admin–>Users will system creates new User id or Renames the existing user id based on first name and last name ,mail id..etc ?
if it creates new user id instead renaming existing it will be the problem.
how to achieve this? before rename in LDAP should we do rename in Agile DB level tables?
