Regarding getting “Insufficient Privilege” when trying to run workflow related PX

Hi

I am new to Agile PLM. Was trying a workflow related PX(CustomAction) in Agile PLM v9.3.6 (Windows), by giving all roles to the PX. The PX is executed in the Release status of the workflow.

When we do release in workflow, immediately in history column we see text like “<PX name> Insufficient Privilege”.

Any idea what may be the issue or how to debug this?

Well, even though you gave all privileges to the PX role you may be missing the specific workflow privilege you require.  Additionally, the workflow setup may also be preventing your action.  You will need to investigate into both these avenues.

To help, look for the workflow privilege you need and trace it to the PX user.

Review the workflow to make certain it allow what you need to do.

Remember that you will also need to review the criteria.
