Aglie 9.3.5 and Safari – Does it work? – What Release?
A client is wanting to standardize on IE and Safari. They are having issues with Firefox and Chrome, in general and with attachment opening.
What is the general consensus on IE and Safari- and what releases are working for everyone?
Is there anyone using Safari on a regular basis/implementation?
One of our developers is using Safari and is having no issues.

Hi Wayne,
I am using IE/Firefox/Chrome without any issue on 9.3.5. If your issue is only related to attachment only then i suggest you to troubleshoot as per the steps shown below.
Attachment download – Work-Around As Per Browser
- Firefox
- In the address bar, type “about:config” and press Enter.
- Click the “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button.
- In the search field, type “block_active”. Set the value for the one search result (“security.mixed_content.block_active_content”) to “false”.
- Clear browser history.
- Type, Ctrl + Shift + Delete
- Re start browser
- Chrome Browser :
- In the address bar at the right end should be a ‘shield’ icon, you can click on that to run insecure content.
- Safari Browser
- Open the Preferences dialog by selecting “Preferences” from the “Safari” menu.
- Select the “Security” icon near the top of the dialog
- Ensure that the “Ask before sending a non-secure form to a secure website” option is unchecked

In section 1.10 Software Requirements you’ll note that the supported systems for Apple’s is OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and the browsers are Safari 8 and 7.
