Rev Specific Attributes
Hello Team,
Is there anyway, we can make Item P2 or P3 fields as revision specific?
Because change controlled attributes are not revision specific, when we select the old revision we should see the old value for the fields suppose it was changed.
There is a report called ‘Item Attribute History Report’ , but that doesn’t suit our requirements.

Unfortunately, No.
While P2/P3 attributes can be set to “change controlled” – this is not the same as being revision controlled.
The history tab will show value changes made to change controlled attributes, but the TitleBlock tab will always display the latest released values regardless of the revision selected in the rev dropdown.

It’s only the Description field that is revision specific. Perhaps you can use a separator in the text you put into Description to include other values you want to be revision specific.

You’ll find that you do have available Rev specific fields on the Affected Items tab of a change order, but you may have to restructure how you do things.
For example, a field I call “Customer Notified Y/N” which uses PAGE_TWO.LIST03 should be converted and use REV.LIST03 Attribute instead. That makes that field rev controlled. Elsewhere on this site there’s a script someone shared that updates an Item based off of the affected items tab when releasing an ECO. Check that out too (“Groovy code to update an item” I believe is the tread name).
