Error while creating a new Custom Report
Hi,
Im trying to create a new Custom Report.
i completed the query, selected the fileds to be populated in the results and clicked on Finish to create the report. But there is error that “Change of attribute Query defnition i not allowed due to insufficient privileges or constraint violations”.
Can you please let me know how to resolve it.
Does the same query work as an advanced search? If so, it is probably a privilege issue.
Check your roles to ensure you have sufficient privileges – Create, Discover, Read, Modify, Run, ViewFile – for custom reports. Make sure to check the criteria of the privilege masks as well.
If you have already checked and privileges don’t seem to be the issue – a screenshot of the query might help to identify the problem.
Modify All Reports or Modify My Reports privilege , Applied To : Reports. General Info. Criteria is not under selected list.
