Attachment upload issue in webclient

Iam unable to upload attachment using Webclient but could upload using Javaclient to the same item. The attachment upload window in webclient is showing as 100% complete but I can’t find the attachment in the Attachments tab of the item. Later attachment upload window  shows as not complete.
Launched the url http://application server.com:8080/Filemgr/Configuration and noticed that there is a mistake in application url and it is showing as Failed. Corrected it in javaclient and tried to launch http://application server.com:8080/Filemgr/Configuration. Now it doesn’t display anything, just a blank screen. Also attachment upload after the correction in webclient is showing error.

Can anyone let me know what has to be done in order to correct the attachment upload issue via webclient. Should we restart the application server to make the changes effective.

Yes – you need to restart the Application Server and File Manager after making changes to the ‘Locations’ configuration.

Please let us know if you still have issues after restart.
