Unable to unreleased Change orders

I am unable to unreleased Change orders even after toggling the smart rule and adding manual next status through Java Client.Am I missing something here ? Please share your inputs

Try using audit release it should tell you why it will not proceed to the next status

Did you update your Change Status (CS) Privileges?

Make sure that change status privilege is assigned to user who is using your customized workflow.

Make sure that the ‘Manual valid next status’ attribute of Released workflow status has ‘Pending'(or any valid) value.

I created a new criteria and a privilege and it worked
