Razorleaf’s work with Ascensia to help with a corporate re-branding effort using PLM and ERP software, was recently featured in “Today’s Medical Developments.”

The story examines the challenges that can arise when a very popular product changes branding, including transferring and integrating huge amounts of data while upgrading information management systems and organizing multiple teams and logistics.

One of the biggest challenges was the need for the new company, Ascensia Diabetes Care, to come completely off Bayer’s existing SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system within 18 months.

That’s where Razorleaf’s experience and expertise came into play. “Despite the late start and the size of the project, Razorleaf and Capgemini helped us handle it all, within regulatory obligations, and we were done ahead of schedule,” said Chris Pasternak, Manager of Engineering Systems at Ascensia.
