Trigger Part Event on ECO release

is it possible to Trigger an event on Change Release, to run a handler on the Top level assembly associated with the change.

in our case, currently we have the event as an action menu item on the part which generates a BOM report on the Assembly and attaches file to attachment tab. we want the action to trigger when the ECO for the Assembly is released. is it achievable through the event framework?

Yes it is possible. Change Status event-Post can be used.

Prasath, thanks for the input…. We are currently trying with the same event with a script PX handler. this is actually attaching a blank file On the ECO than on the Assembly where it needs to actually be present.
