Search criteria in Advanced Search

Hi,

How can we add attributes to the pre-populated lists for search criteria. The option enable for Search Criteria does not help.

Thanks.

Can you please clarify that this is for the parametric or basic search.

It is a parametric(Advanced) search. I have a page 2 attribute for the affected items but it does not come up on the list of Changes.Change Orders.Affected Items.

You are correct… the only attributes that come up, I believe, are those that are added to the affected items as columns… give that a try, add it to the affected item tab and then see if you can get it to work.

It does not come up that way either. 🙁

Ok so, there are only few base ids that make it to the Advanced Search pre-configured searchable attributes.

you can reverse the search if you don’t want to get particular attributes from the change but mainly on items:

Ex: SELECT change history.change number, item.number  FROM Part WERE page two.attribute = ‘myCriteria’ and changehistory.change number = ‘12345’

I was trying it for end users who would want a particular item P2 attribute to figure in the dropdown list for Changes.Affected item for Advanced Search criteria.
