Random notifications don’t show on the Notifications tab

I’ve got one user who does not get all notifications on their home page. There doesn’t seem to be a particular type of notification which does this and I can’t see any other linking factors. The user gets all notifications by email and their preferences are set correctly. The only way i’ve been able to replicate the issue is if the notification comes in whilst I am on the ‘Notifications’ tab however the user is certain this is not the case for him. Any ideas on what might be causing this please?

The notifications are configurable. One of the configurations is where to send the notification: email, Inbox or both. Check the configuration of the notifications in Admin to make sure they are going where you expect them. I typically do not like notification to go to both email and Inbox as then there are two places to maintain.

Thanks for your reply Steve. The notifications is sent to both email and inbox for all expected notifications. I’ve tried changing to one or the other but we still see the issue in the inbox.

There were some issues with the Notification Inbox not showing notifications in 9.3.1 and 9.3.2. I think there was even a patch for it. What version are you on?

We’re on 9.3.1.2 so this could be it! Thanks so much. Oracle note 1450450.1 seems to cover it.
