Project internal number not exported to MS

I am using Agile’s feature to export PPM to MSP. The exported xml does not contain the internal project numbers. Is there a reason why this is so? How can I identify a particular project in MSP if the internal number is not present.

FROM OTN:

Agile PLM does not support Microsoft Project (MSP) 2007 or 2010. Till Agile 9.0.x MSP 2000 was supported and from 9.2.x. onwards MSP 2003 is supported.
There is an enhancement request open to support MSP 2007 and MSP 2010. See Bug 9284171 for the status.

Hi Antonio,

I think you misunderstood my question. I am able to export PPM to MSP. The schedule etc are all created. However, in the exported information the ‘Internal Number’ field is missing. I require that field for identification and further use.

I am using MS Project 2013

Hi which is your AgilePLM Version?

Please check MSPSyncMapping.properties file available in the application server.  All the attributes that you want to retrieve should be specified there.

The below extract is from Agile 9.3.3 PPM User Guide:

—————–

7.3.1 Setting Up Microsoft Project Synchronization

To ensure that data synchronization works successfully, MSP project elements must be mapped to the correct PLM object attributes. Agile provides a mapping file,MSPSyncMapping.properties, where these values can be mapped appropriately.

You can find this file in the Agile installation directory under ..\agileDomain\applications\application.ear\APP-INF\classes. Follow the instructions provided within the file to map attributes as required.

Hi Sankar,

I have already reviewed that file. From what I could understand it just explains how to map attributes of page two to attributes in MSP and does not provide the mapping used by Agile.
