Manufacturer and Manufacturer Part Page Two and Three attributes

Hi all,

We´re trying to configure additional attributes on Page Two and Page Three on the Manufacturer and Manufacturer part classes and subclasses. However, when we go on Java Client and turn Page Two and Page Three as Visible, we cannot see the Page Two and Page Three headings on either object on the Web client,

Working on an Agile 9.3.3 installation at the customer, but also saw the same behavior on Agile 9.3.4.

Sorry for the apparently basic question, but really stuck at this time…

Thanks in advance for any help on this and best regards,

Clovis,

Have you made certain that the READ and MODIFY privileges have been set for the user?

Yes, I have the Privileges Read Manufacturers I Have Created set to my user.

Clóvis,

it works perfectly on Agile 9.3.5. Try to enable the page two and an attribute as well.

Carlos, you´re correct and that´s a strange behavior… You have to really set an attribute  on the desired Page as visible so you are, then, able to see, the Page heading AND the attribute… This does not happen with supplier class configuration, where you can just turn on the Page Two or Three as visible and later set the attributes at your convenience… Go figure…

Hi all, I have the privileges set correctly (Read/Modify Manufacturers I Have Created)

All set now!! Thank you all again so much for the timely responses!!

Probably because Suppliers and Manufacturers are in different modules (PG&C vs. PC) is the cause of the difference in how they act to making P2/P3 visible. I do find it weird that they would act differently, but I have found other (minor) differences between how 2 separate modules operate, so your mileage may vary (and what I have found is nothing major, although this is one of the more obvious differences I have seen).

Although we are able to use (and are using here) the Suppliers base class on PC w/o the overhead of using the additional PG&C functionalty (RFx, etc.), yes, I do agree with your theory.

Thanks for your comment, Kevin, very much appreciated!!
