how to use files from dismounted file server?

Hi,

We have dismounted one of our file server and (now) moved all the files to primary file server.
can anyone suggest how i link it to Agile?
requirement : whenever someone try to access file that belonged to dismounted server, he/she will be able to access from Agile.
currently I am locating the file manually and providing to users 🙁

It seems to me that you mean to say the file vault and not the tomcat server if am not mistaken. So presuming that’s the case, have you tried adding the new folder to which you have moved the files from your old vault, to the file vaults list in the Java Client?

Primary file server is already there, dismounted server is no longer enable.
dismounted server’s URL and tomcat are no longer available or enable.

let me know if i misunderstood your point.

One way i can think of is mount it back temporarily, copy to some other folder location. Otherwise if you have the file at some location then you need to get the object vs attachment mapping and then try to upload using file loader.

Temporary having it back not possible now. Uploading whole server files seems tough.

When you state that all files were moved to the primary DFM, what do you mean?  Did you have to copy a custom file vault, or the main Agile file vault?
All files should be on the primary DFM. So there should be no reason why Agile cannot find a file if a local DFM goes offline. It may take longer (due to network distance) but it should still be accessible.  What error are your users seeing when they try to access a file that they know is on the offline DFM?
