How to eliminate the IE Browser prompt to download CADXML file on Load to CAD
When a Load to Cad is performed on a Design, Agile generates a Agile.CADXML file that must be downloaded and opened by the EC Connector client in order to pull the CAD structure/files. In the Microsoft IE and Edge browsers, they prompt to Open or Save the files with no option to specify “Always open this file type” like Chrome does. Unfortunately Chrome is not an answer as it is not part of our default enterprise PC build.
Does anybody have a method to set IE (11) and/or Edge to automatically open a CADXML file?
Did we get any closure on this? If you have solved this please elaborate here on the solution for future reference.
