FileLoad Error

I am trying to upload attachments into Agile. I have created the index file and have the attachments sitting on my computer but I keep getting an error the following:

<The file is not found.>

I have attached the index. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Nelly,

Is the FileServer available and set up correctly?  Is this issue new?  Can you add files elsewhere?  Is this a new environment?

Is the path to the files fully defined in the index file???  Can you attach one file manually from the directory where they are located??
Are you using the INPLACE option and if so, have you created the custom read-only file vault??
Usually that error comes because the file name is wrong or the directory isn’t fully specified.  But a good first check is to manually attach a file and see how that works.

Are you using the JavaClient or Webclient to file load?  Web client assumes the path in your index file is accessible from the agile server or proxy depending on your environment.

If they are on your PC suggest you use the javaclient and increase the thread count to speed up the process.

Thank you all for your responses. I figured out the problem was that I needed to move the attachments so that it would find them in the core drive instead of out of a folder on the core drive. Minor mistake I guess. I didn’t realize it couldn’t go into the drive then a folder to get the attachments.
