Downloading list of docs. in single run
I have certain list of part numbers. I need attachments in .pdf for their parts. For downloading their docs, i need to type their part individually in agile and download. Is there any alternate way? I mean is there any possibilities for downloading all docs in a single run. I tried pdx export. But it didnt open in adobe reader and downloaded in name like “agile125..”. I need corresponding attachments downloaded in their respective name in single run. Is it possible?
Not really. The pdx export would be your closest shot. It is basically a zip–you can rename the extension to .zip. But as you have discovered, the attachment filenames in the zip are coded. The .xml file in the zip has the mapping but you would want to create a script to parse the xml and rename the files. Other options to bulk download also would involve some form of coding.
