Do we have option to lock file on folder object or folder in Agile PLM.
We want to restrict the modification of file on file folder object or if possible complete folder object so that no users can modify it except admin.
At file level you van use Incorporate/Unincorporate to lock and unlock files.
There is a privilege with the same name which you can assign to specific users.
Thanks for the update . But do we have option to configure incorporate / unincorporate privilege for file folders object? . I could find this only for items. We use Agile 931 version.
Well, incorporate has a strict definition on the Agile side. You may want to visit your “Modify” privileges for items at specific criteria (using $CURRENTREV and $LATESTREV logic, for instance) to satisfy your business needs. Just take away user’s modify privileges for the Attachments table.
