Customizing Gantt Chart
Has anyone used the Gantt chart as an interface for custom functionality? We want to extend the resource management functionality in PPM and have created a separate web interface using SDK and web services. It would be much more effective to merge this functionality with the Gantt functionality. I know the Gantt is a separate Java app, can we modify the Java libraries to extend the Gantt application to include additional functions?
Any thoughts, experiences or examples would be appreciated. Thanks.
Just as a follow up . I don’t believe we are ignoring this question yet we feel we do not have the sufficient knowledge base to honestly answer it. My recommendation is to contact Oracle Support with your need.
