Workflow Tab Data as Output Fields for Dashboards/Custom Search
Requirement: Table Dashboard to display a list of all changes currently in review status including how long they have been in review.
It is easy enough to create a table of all changes in review status, but the duration does not seem to be available as an output display field. Nor does anything else from the workflow tab for that matter.
I’m afraid that this isn’t possible out-of-the box, but I figured I’d throw it out here just in case there is something I’m missing.
Customization is the option unless you have opla. OPLA you have standard reports. Alternatively, Dashboard SDK customization is right solution. Customization is due the constraints as the fields are not configurable. Although there are cycle time reports, but i doubt they meet requirements. My recommendation is you leverage Jobs and Functional group feature of arriving approval matrix. At least it give times spent on each status directly in workflow tabs.
The workflow data is not displayable with standard search output. You are left with Paritosh’s recommendation or a custom solution.
