“Save as” multiple part numbers (ex: 1500+)

How I can “Save as” multiple part numbers (ex: 1500+) at a single shot. is there any easy way? an example i need to save as a part ABCD-01 to ABCD-02, WXYZ-01 to WXYA-02…etc.

Export the part data which is needed to copy in excel sheet and import it in Agile PLM through excel sheet.

I will go with the below option. But, if it is some common task, which needs to be done frequently, I suggest to have a standalone SDK script.

I think export import will not help if parts have other attributes defined like manufacturers, try writing a program and use item.SaveAs, I think this should work

We developed a PX doing SAVE AS for a list of items eg items on a change. Using IMPORT is probably the best alternative.

My suggestion is as also using with Import and export with excel , SDK script needs java development. This is easy and fast . However person should have good knowledge about agile import as it can also pollute the system with admin access. Please refer import and export guide for details .

Interesting topic – I had used ECAD library integrations with Agile PLM, and now we are building the MCAD integration via EC. I would like to get further feedback on how we could do this, epecially MCAD part libraries…
