Managing Effectivity of BOM Assemblies and Components

I have a scenario related to Planning BOM or Disposition analysis of Engineering change orders.

How Agile plm can modulate effectivity changes at component level to arrive an effectivity date of assembly.

Problem statement Arriving Effectivity Data of Assemblies:

In OEM-EMS collaboration model, OEM send affected items and its components (with or without redlines) along with effectivity dates.

There are effectivity dates that keep on changing at component levels, which may be within the effectivity date of Assembly.

if component effectivty date is exceeding effectivity date of Assembly. replan complete ms/mrp  plan for planned orders and production orders.

this would result in increasing cycle time between  OEM-EMS.

Second scenario)  if there are back to back change orders released for various components in assembly, whose effectivity keep on altering. how to mitigate changes.

This way planning  for Assembly release to manufacturing cannot be achieved.

Agile PLM has constraint, it manages effectivity date at assembly level.
In a Given ECO, Affected item line level there is no validation or smart rule to check for components.

How this scenario can be simplified

First let’s be clear that the effectivity dates in Agile are based on human input.  Since stock is tracked in ERP, this function should be solved there.  Disposition is one of the key factors with any change as they allow warehouse and production to follow
