how will agile recognize File Manager installed on different server

If Agile PLM is installed in one server and file manager is installed on different server. How Agile will recognize the file manager?

I am guessing you have not gone through the installation. The installation asks for that information.

The application server identifies the File Managers from Admin >> Server Settings >> Locations >> File Manager. Users can then specify their preferred File Manager, typically based on network latency to the server. As Steve mentioned, during the File Manager install, the Agile application server details are required, which are stored in server.conf.
