Different integration methods with Agile PLM

I might sound vague but what are the possible integration methods/processes other than web services and PIP architecture for interfacing Agile with EBS/SAP/MDM.

I would like to know the different Agile integration being implemented.

Prior to 9.x I used to integrate using Sierra Atlantic’s (now Hitachi Consulting) SCMnet yet I believe that has gone the way of the dinosaur but is still available.  It used to just drill into the ENG MODULE and ITEM MASTER.

We use the AIA-PIP for EBS, but for smaller entity not on EBS yet just did a simple integration using ACS to ftp a PDX export  to a location that got polled by a utility that unzipped the PDX, parsed the XML into their ERP system and dropped the files into
