Dashboard view of pending change approvals
Hello!
I am using Agile 9.3.6 (Build 47) and I am trying to help a user set up his dashboard to show all his pending change request approvals. The problem that I am having is that the user may have approved the Change Request once, and if it is rejected by another user later in the workflow, and the workflow returns to the status where his approval is needed again, it will not show up when the search is run. I do not know how to set up the search criteria to display this.
So, I would like to know how to create the saved search for: all pending approvals by a user on all change requests even if it was approved previously but now requires the approval again due to the workflow being reset.

Hi AJ,
I’ve had the best luck mapping the dashboard to a Saved Search and using the out of the box “Workflow Routings”. There should be one called “Changes that require my approval” which should capture any pending approval. There is also another one called “Changes that require my acknowledgment”. I believe the “Workflow Routings” upper tab (beside the dashboard tab) is driven off these non-editable searches. Access to the “Workflow Routings” searches is controlled via each user’s profile “Searches” attribute.

Yes! This is exactly what I was looking for and thank you for mentioning how to get the Workflow Routings searches to show up in the Searches folder! This would have driven me crazy.
