Customizing or Extending PCM ‘s Quote Function
Hi Experts,
I am new to Agile PLM , currently testing the PCM modules to manage RFQ with external suppliers.
We received some requirements from users see whether we can assign a group of buyers automatically based on Commodity of the items when creating RFQ from the AVL Page or Item Page in the sourcing project.
e.g.
- A sourcing project contains just 1 BOM with 500 Items.
- Each Item has a commodity
- The Project owner would like to create multiple RFQ automatically based on the Commodity or Product Category of the item.
- Each RFQ deals with 1 type of Commodity and the corresponding buyers of that commodity be automatically added to RFQ owner, so that the supplies knows which buyers to contact for further enquires before submitting response.
- Email sent out to suppliers will be copied to the buyer assigned.
So would like to know which documents I should start to read and where to add an item in the drop down list named “Create Quote by Commodity” to handle the logic above.
