Basic Data Statistics
How do you get a report of basic DB statistics such as part count by sub-type? The administrative reports don’t seem to cover this.
You can create a report that has something like the part number + subclass and export to Excel then use a pivot table. Or create an external report that feeds directly out to something like a dashboard or Excel with the pivot already built in.

We directly query the DB tables. We have lot of items which exceeds the Web client Export limit. Plus, trying to get lot of data in Web client puts a load on the App server
