Hi Laura,
The superadmin password is typically never changed, however I wonder if someone copied the dmp file from another environment and hasn’t restored the keystore and special passwords.

Hopefully, there is a backup of the original dmp file in dev somewhere that can be loaded back into the database so the application can start. The keystore is stored in the database and is environment specific. Attached is a script that I use to extract these details whenever an instance is created, allowing me to run the generated script to restore the keystore and passwords.

Is there a part of the coding you need help with? I assume you’re already familiar with how to write Groovy scripts and work with the SDK in general.

The easiest solution is to make sure the import file includes the subclass name, then it’s just mapped in. The next solution is to create a custom import app, which will be a lot of work, but possible. Agile Import itself doesn’t expose events for custom operations, other than to build an external import solution.

Phantoms are parts that will never exist in physical form. As Carlos mentioned, they are often used for planning and purchasing, but not for manufacturing. An example is a placeholder assembly to drive MRP for long lead time components that is swapped with an actual assembly once the real assembly configuration is complete. I can’t think of a good reason why purchased components would be considered a phantom, so I would definitely question that practice.

I have found that the IQuery performance degrades significantly over 50k records and I try to keep things around 10k for bulk processing. You can do this by querying subclasses, categories, etc. Keep in mind that an item may not have a BOM in the latest rev, but did have one in a prior rev, so I wouldn’t trust the BOM flag. I’ve done this a few times and it works fine, albeit slower than going directly to the database.
