At long last, summer is here. In addition to warm weather and sunshine, its arrival brings about a litany of our annual favorite activities, including family vacations, 4thof July fireworks, barbeques, and of course, the OTM SIG!
The annual OTM User Conference holds its familiar spot on the calendar, taking place at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel on August 4-7, 2019. As any past attendees will attest, the SIG is the largest and most well-attended conference of the year dedicated to users of Oracle Transportation Management and Global Trade Management. A crowd of approximately 500, consisting of customers, prospects, ISV and SI partners, and Oracle product experts are expected to convene for three days of knowledge sharing, educational sessions, keynotes from Oracle executives, networking opportunities, and more.

Take Advantage of Networking Opportunities
The SIG represents the largest gathering of its kind, dedicated solely to the OTM-GTM platform. Though other events throughout the year may outdraw the SIG, none brings as many members of this product’s ecosystem together under one roof. Many users attend the conference annually and it’s always a great place to catch up with old friends and acquaintances. Likewise, the SIG also offers an opportunity to meet new customers, new partners, and witness first-hand the vibrancy of this community that is often called out in industry analyst reports. Many partners host private events on Monday evening, which are sandwiched between SIG-sponsored receptions on Sunday and Tuesday night, so there is never a shortage of networking opportunities.
Attend Educational Sessions
The highlight of the event for many attendees is the sheer amount and variety of track sessions. Over the course of 2½ days, the SIG includes four different tracks with 10 break-out presentations each, for a total of 40 different sessions from which attendees can choose. This year’s agenda contains more customer-led sessions than ever before, with a full 80% of planned content featuring a customer speaker. The 2019 conference agenda also includes many new customers or those who are speaking at the SIG for the first time.
Hear from Oracle
Although the SIG conference is organized entirely by a group of OTM-GTM customer and partner volunteers, Oracle maintains a strong presence at the event. In fact, we’ll be delivering more content this year than at any prior SIG. Featured keynotes will be delivered by Oracle executives on Monday and Tuesday. Three different track sessions will feature speakers from Product Strategy, Product Management, and Development. And after a successful trial last year, the SIG has added a dedicated track of Oracle product demonstrations on Tuesday and Wednesday, led by our Sales Consulting team. In addition to these speaking engagements, many more members of the Strategy, Product Management, and Development teams are on-hand to engage with customers throughout the course of the event.

The number of OTM-GTM partners with implementation services or complementary products is always growing. At the SIG, attendees can stop by the exhibit hall to visit with all of the key players in the partner ecosystem, and learn about the latest innovations from our partner community.
The OTM SIG conference is a true testament to the strength and global reach of the product.
