GrabCAD now has over 4 million members, so we wanted to take a moment to thank the people who helped make it all possible ­­– you.

We’re celebrating.

From the start, GrabCAD was built to foster agile product development for engineers and designers, and we’ve since grown into the largest online community for product design in the world. Without valuable members like yourself, and the informative content you create and share with other members of the Community, we wouldn’t be where we are today, or where we’re poised to go in the future.

Here’s a visual timeline of GrabCAD’s journey to becoming a 4-million member community of engineers, designers, manufacturers, and dreamers:

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll take a look back at the past seven years, as well as what the future might hold. We’ll interview some of our most active members, check out their work, and hear their stories. There will be a weekly raffle for cool prizes like a limited edition GrabCAD t-shirt. And, last but not least, we are hosting a design challenge with a Makerbot Replicator+ 3D printer as the top prize!
